This website is perfect for Early Childhood education teachers. The article sums up the information in three key points: do it fun for kids. For example, playing games, being creative, including art in class or taking your class outside. In the second place, it has to be an active process for them. It has to be dynamic and real. And last but not least, we can’t put pressure on them. Teachers must respect the learning rhythms from each child and adapt us to them.

We recommend it because:

  • As future teachers, we think that these three points are useful in English lesson-plans, but also in other classes and activities during school time.
  • It also contains examples of games and activities that we can do with kids if we follow these three points

An example of an activity or game in English that you can get to know on this website is doing a treasure hunt with children. It is a different activity because you can play outside. The kids can be outside with clues to solve. Each clue leads to another. The teacher can hide the clues before class and then give plenty of time to gather all of them. It’s a game where all the class can play and they can help each other and complement each other
