Elephants, monkeys and birds is one of the activities we use in our MOVIC workshops. Here’s an activity that’s very popular with toddlers from 3 years right through to eight-nine year-olds.

This lesson and activity plan is intended to demonstrate how Music can be used to teach English. It aims to put together a structured 45 minute lesson using one of our most popular MOVIC activities. You can read more about this methodology in  L’escola del món’s website.

These lesson plans are intended to be flexible guidelines on how to use Music to teach English in a meaningful way. Each teacher should (and is encouraged) to adapt them to their own teaching style. I hope that they will provide you with in-depth guidance for a series of activities that I have found to be particularly effective and engaging in my workshops.
