Spring Time! Lesson & Activity Plan
5,00€
«Spring Time!» is lesson plan based that aims at working on musical aspects in the English class. These activities are based on MOVIC methodology (Movement & Music in English). Here’s a set of activities that are very popular and engaging with toddlers from 3 years right through to eight-nine year-olds.
This lesson and activity plan is intended to demonstrate how Music can be used to teach English. It aims to put together a structured 90 minute lesson using one of our most popular MOVIC activities. You can read more about this methodology in L’escola del món’s website.
The digital lesson plan includes:
The Music objectives
The English objectives
Resources needed
Music suggestions to implement the activity
6 activities that put together a 90-minute lesson plan. However, I highly suggest to use these activities regularly while progressively making language structures more and more challenging as the students’ level of English improves.
32 pages long, including a Vivaldi’s Spring Musicogram, puppets to cut out, the images from the Musicogram ready to cut out and paste, and 21 flashcards with Spring-related vocabulary.
These lesson plans are intended to be flexible guidelines on how to use Music to teach English in a meaningful way. Each teacher should (and is encouraged) to adapt them to their own teaching style. I hope that they will provide you with in-depth guidance for a series of activities that I have found to be particularly effective and engaging in my workshops.

Descripción
«Spring Time» is a Lesson & Activity Plan to teach English through Music. MOVIC lesson plans take a CLIL Music approach and are intended to demonstrate how Music can be used to teach English. They aim to put together a structured lesson using some of our MOVIC activities. All lesson plans can be implemented in a single lesson (60 minutes) but they can be expanded or developed further along more sessions, as they are very flexible and they can all be adapted. These activities, therefore, can be implemented along several sessions or a whole semester (something I highly encourage). You can read more about this methodology in L’escola del món’s website.
